There’s all kinds of amazing health benefits that come with going through life with other people:

Health Risks

Conversely, loneliness is linked to a slew of different health abnormalities. A 2017 study found that loneliness increases a person’s risk for:

  • Chronic illness
  • High cholesterol
  • Emotional distress
  • Diabetes
  • Depression

This is why I feel strongly about cultivating GROUP EXPERIENCES in my delivery of medical care!

Shared Group Medical visits are a creative solution to increasing access to helpful medical information to more patients.They also improve the health of patients by allowing them to receive meaningful health tips and effective tools to implement lifestyle changes.

One of the best things about Shared Group Medical visits is that you are sitting alongside and learning with other patients that may have the same questions and concerns as you, so you don’t feel as isolated on your journey to more abundant health and vitality! You will likely hear different tips and advice that you may not receive during a solo visit

 I’m always seeking better ways to offer access to high quality care to my patients, which is why I’m so excited to start offering Open Office Hours in 2020 (starting January 9) where all members (Active Members and those who have graduated to Basic Access) have an opportunity to share and learn from each other every Thursday at 6pm in my office (and also remotely via Zoom!).

Don’t worry- we keep ALL information HIPAA compliant and private by discussing generalities without identifying specific people.  

Group Healing

During Open Office Hours, I will discuss:

  1. Recent lab results and explain how to interpret them
  2. Answer questions that have come up during the week
  3. Help members get un-stuck with whatever they’re struggling with
  4. Invite guest experts every month for special educational topics

We aren’t alone. 

Learning and sharing from each other’s journey helps us thrive. This is why I have workshops, private Facebook Groups, and NOW Open Office hours. I also expand this in my public speaking with hospitals, residencies and other industries struggling with burnout (it’s EVERYWHERE!) in my program Right Brain Rescue
